Scheduling in EMR

It is imperative that the schedule for your upcoming week is entered into the EMR system. For several reasons:

1) Patients call office regularly to find out when therapy is scheduled

2) Dr offices often follow up to see how many sessions a patient has completed or when their next apt is

3) The other disciplines PT, OT , SLP need to see when you are scheduled so they can also work around the times with the patients

4) Evaluators need to enter in evaluation appointments for the above reasons as well as Start of Care needs to be ensured by back office to confirm patients are accounted for.
