LifeCare Therapists- not only is it important to read through the evaluations and recertification documentation in full, but it is also important to note the precautions in place.

When you click on the medical briefcase it opens up to see all the parameters. Noting any risks to the patient like not using Ultrasound or avoiding any devices the patient may have can be life saving.

Assistants should not always be asking the patient the same questions that are already set up and in place by the evaluating supervisor. You should be prepared on your evaluation reviews: reviewing insurance, precautions, reviewing diagnosis, and POC visit recommendations.

Assistants before you use Tens or Ultrasound please ask your pts the following questions, just in case it was missed!:

1- do you have Cancer?

2- do you have a pacemaker?

3- do you have a bone stimulator?

4-do you have ORIF?
