Taking a Vacation.. what happens next?

Of course you are welcome to take a vacation. Everyone needs a break! Follow these tips!

1) inform office Elisha/ Marika of dates of vacation so we are aware if a patient calls looking for you while you are on a beach somewhere.....

2) inform all your patients PRIOR to the days you are off so they can decide if they want to be on hold while you are away or if they need a new therapist to cover them.

3) document in EMR your time away in each pts chart so we know why patient was on hold while you were out

4) when back and rested call all patients and start scheduling them- if you had coverage speak with the therapist

covering so you give the patients a smooth transition back
