Personnel qualifications must be regulatory requirements to obtain and maintain a contract position with LifeCare.

Recruitment of staff for employment or contract will be conducted as appropriate to ensure patient needs are met through adequate staffing. Recruitment will be limited to qualified therapists as defined by regulatory criteria. All persons considered for hire/contract will undergo a comprehensive interview and orientation process before provision of service with LifeCare. After the personal interview is complete, the following documents will be maintained in our HR File.

Orientation & Annual Updates
Each therapist is offered orientation through an online training portal for all policies and patient care practices, followed by a one-to-one meeting with a trained therapist for review and EMR training.
If a therapist’s license expires or is found for any reason to be unable to practice in the State of Florida, the individual will be immediately discharged from service.
