Compliance with Medicare
All therapists are expected to comply with applicable legal, ethical and regulatory standards of our Organization.

LifeCare is committed to conducting our business operations with honesty, with integrity, and in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and payor requirements. A Compliance Plan has been created as part of this commitment. It establishes minimum guidelines for all employees, independent contractors, affiliates, and business associates of our company. While intended to serve as both an educational and a guidance resource, we cannot predict every situation that might be encountered. All persons are expected to consistently demonstrate honesty and integrity in all interactions, comply with State Practice Acts, Codes of Ethics & Standards of Conduct, and ask questions and report concerns on a timely basis.
While the existence of a compliance program is not a guarantee that fraud, waste, abuse, inefficiency, or errors will not occur, LifeCare intends to operate within an organization-wide culture of compliance, and this program is a part of this effort. The creation of a Compliance Plan and the policies, processes, and standards contained herein establishes a tone for conducting our business lawfully and ethically. It reinforces our commitment to integrity, best practices, and the highest quality of service delivery.
While not exhaustive, the following outlines the minimum requirements expected of all therapists and team members.
