Patient Scheduling

Therapists must contact patient with 24 hours and coordinate specific times for therapy services.

LifeCare recognizes that excellence in customer service can only be achieved if every member of our Team practices prompt and courteous contact both with internal and external contacts, including our patients, their families, and representatives. To meet this objective, Therapists are asked to:


●Contact patient within 24 hours of receipt of assignment to schedule an Evaluation;


●Contact patient within 24 hours of receipt of Initial Evaluation to schedule therapy;


●Coordinate specific therapy appointment date(s) and time(s) for patients;


●Notify patients if there will be a substantial delay in a scheduled visit or if a visit needs to be canceled.


Appointments are to be entered into the EMR so other team members are aware of your scheduled date and time.
