We know missed visits happen. We want you to know some tips on how to handle:
The best practice is to reschedule in the same week whenever possible
If your POC is 2x per week, it is ok to do 3 the following week- always ok to increase the plan of care to make up visits
We always meet the total number of visits in POC so the patients do not lose any visits
If a Supervisory Visit happens in a week, that DOES NOT take from your POC, if POC is 2x per week and a sup visit happens, you can STILL do 2 that week- so a total of 3 visits.
If you go on vacation, you can set up for pt to have an increase in visits in the following weeks to make up any visits you may miss.
