8 Minute Rule

When you complete your documentation and enter your procedure codes with time, make sure you are looking at the total time. You may be missing out on the 8-minute rule! Check the Chart below- 68 minutes is just a little more than an hour and gives you that 5th unit. We know you are spending time with the pts, so make sure your time is accurate.
