Cyber Attack
If our organization experiences a cybersecurity attack, LifeCare will follow the steps outlined by the Department of Health & Human Services for responding to such an attack.
LifeCare will comply with HIPAA Privacy, Security & Breach Notification requirements in our organization-wide effort to prevent unauthorized access to protected health information. This includes risks from cybersecurity risks, malware, and ransomware. These protective measures are outlined in our Administrative Policies and Practice Management and are included in the training provided to all staff.
In the event that our organization experiences a cybersecurity attack, LifeCare will follow the steps provided by the Department of Health & Human Services to respond to an attack. This Checklist is attached for reference.
